Hannah Mohr: When I began law school, I don't think I knew for sure what direction my career was going to take. My trajectory sort of evolved naturally in law school, and I had an interest in the field of healthcare law. Ultimately, I decided I wanted to go toward litigation. I think that my experience with healthcare law serves me well in this field because often times what we're doing is working with injured people; people who have been involved in accidents, victims of medical malpractice, people who have been through some pretty terrible things. It's important to not only have legal acumen but also compassion.
I think that as individuals we all know somebody who has been affected by an accident, an act of medical negligence, or different forms of abuse. To be able to do something in response to these horrible things that have happened to people is really important.
