Valley Transportation Authority Bus Accident in Milpitas Leaves Multiple Victims With Serious Injuries

On October 16, 2013, at approximately 5:15 p.m. a frightening bus accident occurred in Milpitas, California. The scene of the accident was southbound Interstate 680 between the Calaveras Avenue and Jacklin Road exits.

According to published reports, the Valley Transportation Authority ("VTA") bus was transporting passengers between the Fremont BART station and the Great Mall in Milpitas when the accident occurred. The bus made contact with a black pickup truck which caused it to careen into the center divider.
